From the long caption that begins John Byrne’s Wonder Woman run. Basically an apology for the Messner-Loebs run that came before it, and a promise that things are going to get better.
In the scene that follows, Wonder Woman intervenes on a shooting in downtown Gateway and destroys all the men’s guns, and tells them to be reasonable instead.
